Continuing Disability Review

Continuing Disability Review relates to the fact that even though you have been approved for disability, a Judge could make a determination that your awarded Social Security benefits should be reviewed in the future, with many reviews being set in the very near future. Basically, the Judge will want to check to make sure you are still disabled in the future.

Because of this, it is essential for a claimant even with a successful determination to continue to treat regularly for their condition of disability so that if a review is instituted, there will be sufficient ongoing data to sustain the award.
