Social Security Claim Deadlines
There are many deadlines- denial, hearing and appeals- involved in both Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
It is necessary that an appeal be initiated within a specified time period. If you fail to appeal your claim within this time frame, your claim will be dismissed and if you wish to pursue it, you will have to re-file a new application with Social Security and start all over. If you miss the deadline for filing; this can often result in a loss of benefits, particularly back pay. It is very important to observe the deadlines which might be in place for taking certain steps during the disability process.
These processes can be overwhelming and frustrating, but Drummond Disability will take care of these deadlines for you! The claims are appealed by our highly trained staff as soon as the denial is received. Our clients can rest easy and be confident their claim is being appealed well before the time deadlines because we handle it all for them.
At Drummond Disability, we do all we can to expedite this process made by the Social Security Administration Attorney Advisors and/or the Administrative Law Judge without having to go to a hearing which is called an “On the Record Decision”.
If you have a disability claim and have questions or need our assistance with the disability process, please do not hesitate to call us NOW at Drummond Disability at 800-842-0426.
